What’s not to love about a used bookstore? Their books tend to be inexpensive, they accept books as trade, they’re usually run by fascinating people, and most importantly, they’re chock full of old out-of-print treasures that you might not be able to find otherwise. I can spend hours combing through shelves in dusty old bookstores, always finding something amazing. OH! is my latest score.
This is a 20 year old wordless book by Belgian illustrator Josse Goffin. Each foldout picture opens to surprise the reader with an entirely new amusing illustration, which is somehow linked to the next page.
